The Anxiety Management and Art Therapy Workshop will allow you to identify what Anxiety is, what causes it, and how to manage it via a range of helpful and powerful tools to mitigate the symptoms. The Art Therapy activity will allow you to approach Anxiety from an emotional aspect.
Anxiety is the beginning of all mental disorders. Understanding what Anxiety is and where it comes from helps us to identify what happens to us physically and emotionally when we experience it. Once you have a clear understanding of anxiety you will be able to apply some key steps to treat it, mitigate its increase and prevent further co-occurring mental health disorders.

Psychological Education
Consists of providing information and tools about psychological issues. In this workshop the participants will study Anxiety and Emotional Regulation to learn what anxiety is and how to identify its symptoms.
Tools
Participants will learn techniques for recognizing and managing emotional difficulties. These tools will be worked through during the workshop as well as through written exercises.
Art Therapy Exercises
During this activity an introduction is given about what Art Therapy is and how the creative process contributes to managing emotional difficulties. Art Therapy is a discipline in the field of psychotherapy in which resources from the arts are used for therapeutic purposes. It consists of performing simple artistic exercises, which allow people to express thoughts, feelings and emotions through non-verbal language. The objective of the workshop is to generate emotional well-being through psychological education and the creative process.
